Presentingggg Pridham. Honestly, I'm mostly just curious his reaction to her--while considered a pirate by herself, she aint into plundering or thieving, and patrols the seas to help out and cause protection where she can when she can. To say the least, she isn't your average pirate, and I'm rather curious just how Alois would take to that--and the overall outcome.

I suppose that depends a lot on how she presents herself, how she carries herself, and so forth. He doesn't have so much of an issue with pirates who aren't an active threat to civilians, so he'd be less inclined to lock her up on the spot. I think I can definitely see some potential for an interesting story or two between them. He's really cocky, so he might come off a bit belittling to her in early interactions. I could definitely see that.

Far from an active threat to civilians, she's more up for helping them really, so she has that going for her. Belittling will likely just add to some less warm snarky remarks than usual, but honestly, she's a stubborn little person who likes to either, a) bug people, or b) get to know them. Whether he ends up irritating her or not, she'll likely be back around, by random encounter or otherwise, so lets see how it goes! Threads are cool yo. I have an open one with her right now if we're lazy about making a new one.

Since I missed you in the box, I might as well let you know here! I think we have enough potential to toss them together and see what happens, so I can make us a thread if you'd like. Alois hates sea dragons/monsters yeah that's cool

Elowen likes to cause rumours of sea monsters/dragons

Cue confrontation between angry scary mermaid and navy man or/and wild goose chase cause she's a fricken badie which I say to curb my swearing who would want to mess with his head.

Also I could see her trying 2 take a chunk out of a sea dragon herself and getting caught in a bit of a predicament honestly.

While Alois has no love of monsters in general, he has an intense dislike of a particular sea dragon, which is basically the biggest, baddest of them all (thus far). Unlike traditional navy boats, Alois' three ships are sent out and almost constantly deployed to follow the big sea dragon around, and keep it from attacking ships and ports by force.

With that said, he would also try to stop other monsters that are praying on ships and junk too. But, I'm actually really into the idea of her trying to fight the sea dragon herself. Especially if she's under-prepared for it. I mean, Alois would freak if he stumbled across some punk getting up in his stuff, and preventing him from doing his job. Would certainly make for some interesting animosity for Alois, I think.
