So two suggestions here...
1. Gamore Island, the graveyard island. Full of crypts and the riches of the dead.
2. Prysima Isle. A unique island that is covered in desert. Small tribes of nomads wander the sand dunes. Near the center of the island is an oasis.

i'm gonna suggest a windmill island, called Watchwind Island. partly because it reminds me of the island i live on, and partly because there must be people out there using the windmills to generate energy by the sea o u o also, it'd be pretty cool to have an island covered in old fashioned windmills on like. the cliffs and stuff. wow <333

Beisht Kione Island A queer island half submerged in the sea and covered in very dangerous and smelly swampland. Inhabited by Haigoug. Haigoug resemble sharks in some way, but this varies greatly from person to person. Once known as the Merfolk Hunters the Haigoug were trapped and guarded by a giant monster known only as Deathstroke who suddenly went missing not long ago. It is said that the Merfolk cursed the Haigoug people with Deathstroke when they murdered a princess long ago. Many Haigoug say that the princess fled from her home with a Haigoug lover, never to return.
More about Haigoug... Naturally aggressive people and previously warlike this group of people generally dislike Mermaids and prefer their trading partners or friendly company to be of a human persuasion. Though always able to breath under water like Mermaids Haigoug tend to vary a great deal when it comes to appearance. Some look almost entirely like sharks and live underwater while others simply have shark like teeth but otherwise greatly resemble a human. They are physically stronger and more flexible than humans but tend to be terribly forgetful and always seem to act strangely around blood in one way or another.

Kreate An island full of caves, that's really easy to get lost in. There's LOTS of hidden treasure inside, also with a city inside that's pretty much just underground. It's also just a good mining place, with lots of gems and such. Phillis A frozen island that's always very cold, it's covered in snow and is a pretty dead island. But it's rumored to have amazing monsters hidden under the ice, and if it was ever to thaw, it'd be over run with monsters. antone A river runs straight through this island, almost making it two if it weren't for the giant bridge between the two. Though, the east and the west hate each other and they're constantly bickering between each other even though they're both very similar!

Anthemoessa A large island once believed to be uninhabited. Nearly the entire surface of the island is surrounded by crags and cliffs. The faces of which have been eroded down to a slick smooth face near the water's edge. No one found it worthy to climb up these dangerous walls to view what is above. Unbeknownst to sailors the island held lost wonders of an ancient civilization. The land above the crags has many flat faces where a sprawling city was built out of stone. The center of the island is four small mountains covered in holes. The mountain passages and the city below have many paths that lead underground. Beneath the surface city lies a subterranean city who's populous dispersed long ago. Many of the structures were carved out of the rocks below. Pits that fall deep into the island dot the underground landscape with only thin bridges of stone to traverse the dark pass. Even deeper below that is more structures, as if these cities were simply built on top of one another. The deeper one goes, the more difficult it is to find fresh air. The lower cities are sunken and water flooded the cavern long ago. Even below the surface the city stretches down. In the darkness of the pits lie creatures who slumber. It is unknown if they are the ancient guardians of this civilization or if they are simply beasts that bar your way. Tsisqua... Upon scaling the flat rock face, adventurers are greeted by an unusual sight. The city above is populated by a race of winged humanoids. If you've seen your fair share of Mermaids then you'll understand the kind of diversity you can experience. Everyone of the Tsisqua have at least one pair of wings. Some of are small and unable to provide lift while others have massive wings that can carry them and some passengers. They all feature some avian characteristics while remaining relatively human in appearance. A simple walk through the city will show you that the Tsisqua were not the original inhabitants of the island. Any building that caves in or becomes too damaged to live in simply move somewhere else, leaving the structure to decay. The Tsisqua focus their efforts on the arts and sciences. They focus on topics that rarely improve their quality of life, but keep their minds busy. They are exceptionally good with astronomy and philosophy. It's rare that a Tsisqua doesn't have a beautiful singing voice. This leads many to perform with instruments instead. The social caste of their society relies on the ability to fly. Those that cannot are pushed to perform menial tasks such as pottery or food gathering. Those who can fly are separated by their proficiency and the beauty of their wings. There is little need for warriors in their society, but some train their bodies and becomes deadly foes from the skies. They dabble in the mystic arts as well, finding it an art or a beauty beyond mortal means. Anthemoessa, condensed.
Surrounded on all sides by flat rock face, Anthemoessa is difficult to get to without the right equipment. The island is built out of a series of mountains with cities built upon cities into the caverns below. The furthest structures have sunken below the depths by seawater. This island is the home of the Tsisqua who only inhabit the upper surface.

two suggestions here!!
LARUINE - A small part of this island is sunny and peaceful. A quaint little port town thrives here, making its living off of the fish and oysters in the bay. The rest of the island? It's covered in thick forests and a dense fog. Few explorers have gone here, but those that do -- and didn't get lost in the fog, never to be seen again -- speak of the ruins of a previous settlement, vast and filled with treasure. It's dangerous to go in too far though. The secrets of the island's history have its keepers: Eidols. There's a reason the civilized part of Laruine locks its gates at night.
NEW RACE INFO - There are two types of Eidols. Most of them are the spooks parents tell their children about, who snatch away stray wanderers at night to feast on them. They're wild, and while clever, they lack a good deal of intelligence. Others are far more civilized. Eidols are nocturnal, as their skin -- usually unnaturally dark or unnaturally light -- is sensitive to sunlight, and they are carnivorous. Their features vary, but they look like skeletal humanoids, with the exception of their sharp teeth, claws, and even odd protrusions like spines or tails. Their eyes also glow in the dark. Because of their reputation for being rabid monsters they're typically hunted down wherever they can be seen. In fact, they're a rare sight these days, with the exception of a few islands. As a result, the Eidols that do blend in with humans are often very secretive, for fear of being ostracized or put in a freak show somewhere. Many of them are also pirates; the idea of freedom on the open seas with an accepting or at least indifferent crew is a tempting offer, after all.
ORELAND - This 'island' used to just be a large rock out on the ocean. After a group of inventors found it, however, it became a fortress of innovation. Unfortunately, after many years infighting between the inventors, those that were alive abandoned the place. The rusty fort is massive, and it's open to any who are curious. The walls are covered in clockwork mechanisms, and almost every room seems filled with some gadget or another. Most of them are failures, but they do make for good knick-knacks to sell. A good portion of the fort is also underwater after the floodgates failed, and there's much to be seen down there too -- maybe even treasure that the inventors left behind?

Riveara Rather than one island alone, it is several islands close enough to one another to use a small dingy to get to and fro. The largest, and most central of the islands, is where the "lord" rules. Under him, all of the islands reside.
While post of the population of Riveara can be found on the largest island, there are those who choose country life to the city life. It's lands are quite prosperous in crops.
However, Riveara is mostly known, not for its crops or prospering lands, but for it's slave trade. It is here that pirates can rid themselves of another ships crew - and get paid for it to boot - and slave traders run rampant on the islands and in the waters around it trying to find more able bodies to throw into it.
Some people seeking slaves are not terrible, merely wanting a capable person to help harvest the yearly crops, or to be a body guard, or something along those lines. However, not everyone is so fortunate with their masters. Many stay away from this island for that reason. However, some of the smaller islands have untouched areas of land that are rumored to hold grand treasures or the wildest of monsters.
- - - Feel free to rename, even though you named it this name. xD; If need be I can come up with something more about the slave trade.
