CAMARADERIE

frankly, tyrin is not an easy dude to get along with. he tends to be rude and dismissive of people at first, and really the only way to get his respect is with a display of strength. that being said, if you are not easily offended or if you can manage said display of strength (or, alternatively, if you catch him on one of his rare good days), you might be in luck. and the reward is well worth it; you would be hard pressed to find a more loyal friend. he is definitely open for anyone who is willing to get through his thick shell.

ADVERSARIES

enemies and rivals, on the other hand, are quite easy for tyrin to make. he’s an arrogant, selfish jerk to 95% of the people he meets, and relishes a bit of competition, so he’s far more likely to antagonize someone than make nice. i would love for him to have a few rivals, in varying degrees of friendly, and maybe a couple of enemies that he can have knock-down, drag-out fights with (i do love a good fight). it’s also possible he could have an enemy from his childhood on the streets of rhoda. lastly, don’t threaten his son. ever. unless you want to make him an enemy for life (which, you know, i’d be down for).

ROMANCES

tyrin’s pretty much closed in the romance department. he’s married and isn’t planning on changing that anytime soon, not to mention he was never all that interested in romance to begin with. the only real possibility is a one-sided crush, but why anyone would crush on this jerk is beyond me.

CAMARADERIE

jason is a strange little guy, but he’s pretty friendly when it comes right down to it. he does have a bit of the creepy wide-eyed child thing going (especially when he wants to) but get him excited about anything and he turns into a pretty typical six year old (hint: he particularly likes boats and weapons of all types). he also has a pretty typical lack of attention to boundaries and will go up and start asking questions and talking with just about anybody, and anyone who doesn’t get pissed off and chase him off is a friend in his book. also, just don’t pinch his cheeks or talk down to him; he’s a pretty smart kid and it’s a good way to incur his terrifying small child wrath.

ADVERSARIES

he’s six? enemies of his parents, maybe, but it’s hard to see anyone declaring a small child an enemy. that being said, if he thinks you’ve wronged him or his parents, he will get you back, usually in some devious and obnoxious way. he's awesome at not-so-harmless pranks and sabotage, and he can make you pretty miserable if he sets his mind to it.

ROMANCES

he’s six. maybe a little puppy crush or something but that’s about it.

Jerk plus jerk equals more jerk??? Laughs Add would likely not mix with Tyrin well at all. He'd be pretty scared of Tyrin at first, but if he stuck around Add would get nasty pretty quickly.

You also mentioned Jason! Ew children. Actually Add would probably get super annoyed at the 'brat' and threaten to eat him probably. Maybe that's how Tyrin comes across him?? I dunno man, just throwing stuff out there~

I bring forth Peyton. Honestly, with him newly joining the pirate life and being an awkward shy little fish, I could see Jason having an influence on, well, getting him involved with some sort of social interaction Peyton doesn't really need. He's good with kids, he can keep them entertained and they always seem 2 like him--but I feel like someone like Jason could just pull him a bit out of his comfort circle. Thread yes yes
