TWENTYSIX + MALE + CARTOGRAPHER + HETEROSEXUAL?
| ABOUT | Zeke comes off as a quiet, lazy distant jerk who couldn’t be bothered. He’s not. Not really anyway. An enigma to most, Zeke is surprisingly active and interested in the world around him. He is distant and hard to understand most days, then he randomly says something that might make some believe otherwise. While in social situations he prefers to listen and observe his activities do not reflect this. He’s climbed mountains, crawled through caves and climbed the highest of trees. Still, he finds himself also taking time to sit and people watch, nap and maybe even do a little fishing. He is a talented artist though he is unable to draw what he hasn’t seen nor does he care much for artsy pursuits. He doesn’t mind helping people out now and then but only if it doesn’t cause him too much trouble. He has a hard time understanding or caring about illogical emotions or situations people get themselves wrapped up in. In the end the most important thing to Zeke is himself. He has the ability to care for others but would simply rather not. His goal in life is to do what he wants, when he wants and to soak up all the information available to help him do just that. He does, however, almost always keep his word unless it becomes a completely senseless to do so. |
| FRIENDS | Zeke has a habit of keeping people at arm’s length and seeming like he couldn’t possibly be listening, let alone care. He’s distant and logical but he’s not a bad person. He’s selfish, but not cruel. He is likely to do what he can to help other’s avoid pain, preferably from the shadows, and almost always keeps his word. Despite his general good undertones, he hasn’t ever had many friends and those he has had he’s been quite distant from since his mother died. I would love to see him rekindle relationships with people from his past as well as make new friends to adventure with. |
| ENEMIES | He’s more likely to consider someone “the annoying one” than an enemy. He doesn’t much care for conflict and can’t be bothered to do much as far as relationships anyway, so why would he waste the time? Sometimes, though, if someone really and truly gets under his skin he will send backhanded or passive aggressive remarks their way. He’s so used to being around uneducated people these past 7 years that he sometimes spits words under his breath that he’s sure other’s might not understand. An excellent way to irritate him is to be loud, obnoxious, or have some control over him. He is actually surprisingly sensitive about certain things, especially “your mom” jokes. He is quick to jump to violence, though he prefers to keep himself out of harm's way. |
| LOVERS | Interested in ladies mostly due to upbringing, Zeke prefers to admire from afar. Silently. He is painfully shy when it comes to talking about romance but has himself convinced that he doesn’t care. There is at least one young lady that he has had a crush on in his past, but never said a word about it. He’s sort of romantic, but not in an entirely traditional sense. He likes giving gifts, but doesn’t like to be thanked for it. He likes to show people things he enjoys, but doesn’t want to be all sappy or invade each other’s personal space during it. He’s a distant and quiet lover but not a terrible one, if you’re cool with that. He’s never had a long term relationship though he’s not entirely innocent either. Perhaps he needs someone who is cool with his distance or perhaps he needs someone that will push him to be more open, you never know. NOTE: Would make a good navigator. Prefers low-ranking jobs but is terribly skilled and well-educated. Unlikely to remain an addition to a crew for long. |
