ICARUS IS FLYING TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN Sometimes Tyrin amazed even himself with his ability to piss people off. It was like a goddamn superpower. He and the rest of the Leonine had come to the sleepy little island of Aguans for, ironically enough, a couple of quiet days to restock the ship and make some minor repairs. It was a tiny little place, especially compared to the crowds Tyrin was used to in Rhoda, but it had enough of a market going that they should be able to find all the supplies they needed for the time being, and might even be able to find them a little cheaper without all the competition to drive the prices up. So, with a list of items he needed to find in hand and Jason successfully pawned off on Chels for the afternoon, Tyrin had set out into the little town alone. It was safe enough, he figured; a little town like this wouldn’t have much in the way of a police force, and one he could easily outrun or outfight if it came to that. He would swear up and down, though, that he hadn’t meant to cause trouble. He just wanted to pick up a few things and get the hell out. That it hadn’t exactly worked out that way was in no way his fault, though he was sure Chels would blame him for it anyway. But, really. The lawmen had picked the fight, not him. He’d been minding his own business, browsing for a little fresh meat to take back to the ship. He was even going to pay for it; not that he made a habit of stealing on land, but if some idiot merchant turned their back he wasn’t averse to pocketing a few things. Force of habit, really, from a time when he hadn’t had the money to buy things. Apparently, the coin pouch he’d pulled out to pay (one he’d admittedly taken from some pompous shithead on a poorly defended merchant ship a week or so before) was distinctive, and the shithead in question had been circulating a description of it in hopes of getting it back. The police had spotted it, and… well, the rest was predictable really. A few belligerent questions on their part and smartass answers on Tyrin’s part, and now here he was, running full tilt down the street away from no less than four officers, all shouting for random passersby to ”Stop that man!”. Luckily, no one was paying enough attention to get in his way. Make no mistake, Tyrin could take on four out-of-shape cops. There was no question in his mind about that. The only problem was, with that many of them, he would almost certainly end up killing one of them, and that was just too much hassle. Easier to run and either lose them around a corner or find an alley narrow enough that he could take them one at a time and control the situation a little better. He skidded around a corner, glancing back over his shoulder to check how far behind him the cops were, and (as was typical for his luck) slammed full-tilt into some poor bastard who’d been approaching the corner from the other direction. With a startled ”Oof!”, Tyrin went down hard, knocking the breath out of his lungs. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ

once your mine there's no going back Perhaps it was easy to believe that Theo was going to steal while he was on land. Easy to believe because more oft than not, it was true. However, he had little need for most of the items he had seen on this island, and didn't care to waste his time carrying around junk. Thus, he was completely innocent, just strolling along minding his own business.
As per usual, he was dressed to resemble that of a male. Pins in his hair making it seem as though his locks were far shorter than they were. Discretely hidden behind other pieces of hair, it was almost impossible to see they were there. A white shirt, opened around the neck into a v point. It was tied so as to not expose too much skin beneath - and the little bit of binding he wore because...well despite popular belief, there was some fat in them there boobs. Just not a lot. Black pants, which disappeared into a pair of buckle boots. Add onto it, the sword at his side, and he look absolutely dashing.
When he had left for the day, he had not been expecting to be nearly trampled. The person crashing into him sent him stumbling backwards, nearly falling himself. The only thing that saved him was a hole in the wall of the building which allowed him to grab onto and control where he went. He winced a bit as it scraped some skin from his fingers though.
"Ow." Was his muttering, gaze going towards the male before him. "If you wanted to jump into my arms and ride away together, you could have just asked." He was obviously teasing. Theo was one of the few people brave - stupid - enough to say such a line and keep the smile on his face. Even towards males.
"Oh look. Hello gentlemen." He waved slightly at the four guards who were quite obviously catching up. "Are they for you?" He was teasing again, because the grin on his face stated he was pretty sure it was for one of them. "You should ru-" Was it just him, or did they just say 'catch them both, he must be an acomplace?' "Better yet, we should both run."
Theo reached down, grabbed the boys arm and carefully pulled him up. "Go go go!" And he was off.

ICARUS IS FLYING TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN While Theo managed to recover from the sudden impact, Tyrin wasn’t so lucky. He’d built up a considerable amount of momentum, and even running straight into another person wasn’t enough to cancel out all of it. He hit the ground hard, managing just barely to twist and hit on his side to keep the air from being driven from his lungs. It still hurt, though. A lot. The rough surface of the street tore the skin of his upper arm (his shirt was sleeveless, so he’d had no protection at all), scraping it raw. Tyrin hissed out a stream of curses as he rolled onto his back and sat up, examining his arm to figure out the extent of the damage, and missing the other’s snarky comment as he did so. Probably for the best, as his temper was already short from having his day ruined by a couple of overeager cops. He quickly determined that, while painful, he wasn’t exactly going to die anytime soon. He looked up as the guards rounded the corner and started to scramble to his feet. Still a little discombobulated from the fall, it took him a moment, and before he knew it the man he’d crashed into had apparently decided they should both run and grabbed onto his arm, pulled him to his feet, and took off down the street. Tyrin took off after him, his disorientation from the fall quickly giving way once more to the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He wasn’t quite sure why the other was running from the cops, too, but hey. He’d take an ally at this point. ”Know of any good places to lose these chumps?” he asked as he fell into step beside the other man. He was pretty sure he (well, both of them) could outrun the rather out-of-shape police sooner or later, but the sooner the better as far as he was concerned. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS & THQ
