They were all juvenile idiots who treated her like a boy, so as she matured, she behaved like them as well. To her, it was normal. During childhood, her parents had taught her many things about the merchant's trade, so that she could one day create her own noble house across the sea, words which held a meaning Augustine had never understood... Aside from being annoyed by her brothers, Augustine had a very happy childhood. Her parents loved her, she had plenty of friends, and was always quite talented when it came to her expected tasks. Indeed, she was always quite happy. Upon coming of age, she followed her parents' advice and went into the island's most prestigious learning institute, the Royal Academy of the Martial Arts, learning to wield a knightly broadsword deftly, and upon graduation, was given the title of Paladin, though partially because of her parents' influence. Shortly after graduating, Augustine started up a small business running supplies for merchants, as well as security for the cargo, which earned her a nice, quick profit. One day, the horizon turned black, and a storm rolled over the ship Augustine was on, and swept it far into uncharted waters... Leaving Augustine with no idea where she was, or how to return home.
