| Surprisingly enough, he doesn't make friends easily. The ones he had were mostly from his home of Kaze but since he'd abandoned the ocean, he hasn't kept in contact with them. The only friend he really has on the surface is a human, who may not even remember him. However, despite his lack of real friends, he's not really all that bad once you get to know him. In fact, he can prove to be quite the useful ally if given the chance. The only side effect is that you'll have to deal with his attitude, though fortunately that becomes easier with time. He's not a bad kid, he's just got a lot to learn. * Desired friendships The Reason - His purpose for even being on land. They'd met years ago but unfortunately had to part ways. Since then, he hasn't been able to get her off his mind. Since then, he's been searching for her. A noble attempt but easier said than done. He didn't realize the surface was so... Big. Childhood Friend - Had been with him since the beginning. They know everything about Zale and while they might not appreciate his choice of adventure, they are someone he can always go to when he needs a friend. Employers - Friends who pay him! He works a lot of odd jobs to help him manage on the surface and as such has worked for plenty of people. | Quickest way to get on his shit list? Mistake him for a girl. Now Zale isn't the type to go out looking for trouble, which makes it quite hard to believe with how blunt he can be. Honesty is his virtue. Brutal honesty. If he finds you annoying, you'll bet your ass he'll let you know with a straight face. Brave or stupid, you can be the judge. Even worse is his temper though and once he's set off, it's quite difficult to get him to settle down. Thank the gods he's not really much of a danger when he's angry, as he's mostly bark rather than bite. However, you do have to hand it to him. It doesn't matter who he's set up against, he'll face them head first. Hate him for being a little asshole, or perhaps even have something against mermaids. Either way, he's got the guts to tell you off. * Desired enemies Hunter - Do you know how much a mermaid can go for on the black market? There's a reason he keeps his identity a secret and this is it. You wouldn't believe how many people think mermaids can grant immortality. Pirates - Nothing personal. It's just his run-ins with pirates never really went all that well and even other humans seem to have reason to dislike them. As such, he tries to steer clear of them. | unfair negative fugitive |
| To be honest, this isn't something Zale really thinks about. Perhaps being hit on by one too many men mistaking him for a girl caused him to lose interest. Either way, he isn't looking for a relationship. Actively, at least. No he doesn't want to give up on the concept entirely, however he's not going to waste time trying to get into one. If it happens, it happens so really this is all a matter of chance. Unfortunately, Zale isn't much of a Romeo and is likely to be completely oblivious to any sort of advances unless you make them so obvious it hurts. However he is a very loyal fellow so you can be certain that if you do win his heart, it's yours to keep. * Desired relationships Crush - A simple little thing. They like him though unfortunately he seems oblivious or they are too shy to bring it up. They may admire him from afar or constantly try to hint at their feelings for him.
