If anyone saw his flag flying at sea they knew to stay away from him. When he pulled up to a dock, it was time for a celebration because they knew he had money to spend. His crew adored him and loyalty was paramount. Then he started to lose. At first it was just missing out on treasure. Then it turned into losing ships to storms and monsters. Then his crew started deserting him one after another. Some nasty accidents and bar fights later, and here he is. He scraps by with whatever coin and chow he can get his hand on. It's rare to find a soul on the Rhoda docks that doesn't look down on the young man. They speak ill of him. They say he's all washed up, that he'll die on these docks before he goes back out to sea.
