[googlefont="Lobster"] Flora had to have been one of the best islands for someone with Rune's type of crew. It was a jungle island, and hit many monsters and different types of species, and as a monster hunter Rune loved finding a lot of different monsters. And Ulrich uh.. Ulrich really liked animals, so he could fan boy and make pets out of them or whatever he wanted to do.
So, Rune tried to go to Flora as often as she could. Or when they had no where better go this is where they went, and so. Rune walked onto shore and looked around. She had told Ulrich to catch up with her whenever he felt like it. Still, she didn't want to get to far or into the large expense of jungle and he get lost.
Therefore, Rune walked along the beach in hopes that the dumb butt would be smart enough to follow her foot prints in the sand. Maybe Rune would find some beach dwelling monster, or a cave to look into.
No matter what she hoped her young cook wouldn't take to long, she was patient unless it came to being excited.. and well.. something about the blond made things just a lot more exciting.

Though I broke it...
But I didn't.
| I'D NEVER GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE Without a little direction The quiet sound of objects shifting and clanking came from the ship's kitchen. The crew's culinary expert was moving as quick as he could to gather everything he thought he may need. Snacks to keep their energy up. Lots of water to keep from getting dehydrated. Dried fruits and meats in case they stay out longer than expected. Salted meats and vegetables wrapped in so many different sheets to keep it fresh. Some woods, utensils, a means to start a fire. It was all going to turn out perfect.
Ulrich hummed to himself as he packed all of these items into a large backpack. He had gone on several of these Flora Expeditions with Rune before and he never quite had enough stuff. They always returned to the ship exhausted and starving. So this time he was going to come prepared. Plus who wouldn't love a little barbeque while out on an adventure?
The blond had to shield his eyes as he stood on the deck of the ship. It was plenty bright outside and being cooped up in the underside of the ship didn't help. He scanned the beach, just barely picking out his pink captain walking along the shoreline. He hoped she didn't get too far away while he made his way to shore. It was terribly difficult for him to get a small craft going and get there himself. He jogged for several minutes in the direction she went. Her footprints were easy enough to follow, but the tide was coming up and started washing away her footprints.
He frantically ran around looking for her and trying to decide where she might have run off to. His large backpack made noises as he hustled around. He started to get scared that she had gone on ahead and he was doomed to get lost on a jungle island all alone. He would never go on an adventure like this if he wasn't following Rune around.
RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" he called out, hoping she would notice him wherever she was.

[googlefont="Lobster"] Rune walked along the shore, the ship was still in sight of her but she was poking the ground, messing with one of the little animals on the shore, just a little crab or something as she waited for Ulrich to yell for her, something that she had already predicted would happen.
Once when his familiar voice screamed at her, one of his few talents Run stood up and waved her hand at him "DOWN HERE!" she said smirking a bit and then let her hands drop to her sides. Then next thing she new she was tackled to the ground by.. something.
It jumped on the other side of her, and run hopped up, and pulled out her sword. It looked like a giant bird that was just more messing with her. She quickly ran at it, and slashed at the bird, but it was flying away.
Run glared at it, running after the bird, but it disappeared among the tree tops and Rune began helplessly trying to climb the tree. "I'm going to get that damn bird." She spoke stubbornly.

| I'D NEVER GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE Without a little direction Ulrich had his usual dopey smile when Rune called for him and waved at him. He hated getting lost on these islands. He trotted to catch up with her. His backpack gave a metallic jingle to his run. When he got a little closer he began to speak loudly so she could hear him. "I packed us plenty of food and water this time around! I thought maybe we could do a cookou- !!" He went quiet as the shock stretched his face.
A massive bird with a wingspan longer than him and Rune lined up came soaring down toward the ground. He raised a hand, but clearly didn't provide enough warning for Rune as the bird blindsided her and knocked her to the ground. Ulrich immediately picked up his pace, rushing to her. "Rune! Are you alright? Why did that bird come out of no where like that? Did you pick up anything while you were waiting on me?" Rune didn't pay too much attention to him. He could see her fuming because of the bird. The way she pulled out her sword and swung it with reckless abandon. He had seen her train and knew that wasn't even close to any real technique she had.
He slowed his pace as he watched her run off after the bird. She was having some trouble climbing a tree with a sword in her hand. He could hear her grumbling to herself as she made small progress up the tree. By the time he walked to the base of the tree she had passed his own height by several feet, but the tree still have many more to go.
"I'm going to get the damn bird." She spoke with her usual stubbornness that Ulrich had become accustomed to. He looked up at her. "Are you sure? It's pretty high up there and you're not really in the best spot to fight there. Plus you're like fighting in its own element. You'll be at a major disadvantage."
